OUR SERVICES
Trusted Home Services for Ballwin Residents
Academy Air has been serving homeowners throughout the St. Louis area, including Ballwin, MO, with dependable heating, cooling, plumbing, and drain services.
Air Conditioning Services in Ballwin
Academy Air is a BBB A+ accredited contractor that keeps homes across Ballwin, MO cool through the hottest stretches of summer. Our licensed technicians work on every major brand and model, so whether your unit is short cycling, running loud, or simply not keeping the house comfortable, we can pinpoint the cause and lay out a straightforward fix, which matters since St. Louis summers put real strain on cooling equipment that goes unchecked for a season or two. We provide AC maintenance, repair, installation, and inspection services for Ballwin homeowners, and recommend a yearly tune-up to catch worn components before they lead to bigger repairs. During an inspection, our technicians check refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and airflow to confirm the system is operating the way it should, and if your air conditioner needs replacing, we walk you through sizing and options rather than pushing a single choice. Reach out to Academy Air to schedule your next AC service or request a free estimate.
Furnace & Heating Services in Ballwin
Winters in Ballwin, MO ask a lot of a home heating system, and Academy Air’s licensed technicians have the experience to keep furnaces running safely through the season. If your unit is blowing cold air, cycling on and off too often, or making noises it never used to, our team can usually identify the source during a first visit and explain what it will take to fix, on gas and electric systems alike. Academy Air handles furnace maintenance, repair, and installation, along with seasonal inspections that check the thermostat, safety controls, and air filter before winter sets in, treating every call as a chance to catch small problems before they become cold-weather emergencies. We recommend having your system serviced once a year, since a furnace that sits unused for months can develop issues that only show up once it’s needed, and a maintenance visit typically includes cleaning key components and replacing the filter so the unit runs efficiently. Contact Academy Air to schedule furnace service for your Ballwin home before the cold arrives.
Plumbing Services in Ballwin
Plumbing trouble rarely waits for a convenient time, which is why Academy Air offers 24/7 emergency plumbing service to homeowners and businesses in Ballwin, MO, with licensed plumbers who handle everything from a backed-up drain to a burst pipe. Because we’re a BBB A+ accredited company, you can count on straightforward communication about what’s wrong and what it takes to fix it, and since a leak or clog that seems minor today can cause real damage if it’s left alone, we encourage customers to call as soon as they notice a problem rather than waiting. Our plumbing team covers drain cleaning, pipe repair, sump pump service, and water heater work, including maintenance, repair, and installation for both tank and tankless units, and regular water heater maintenance helps the system run efficiently while catching corrosion or sediment buildup before it causes a failure. Whether you’re dealing with a slow drain or need a new water heater installed, we’ll walk you through the options. Get in touch with Academy Air to schedule plumbing service or request an emergency repair in Ballwin.
Drain Cleaning & Rooter Service in Ballwin
When drains back up or run slow in a Ballwin, MO home, Academy Air sends technicians who explain what’s happening before any work begins, so you know exactly what you’re paying for. We handle drain and sewer issues for homes and businesses alike, and our crews carry the tools needed to diagnose a clog accurately rather than guessing at a fix, since signs like gurgling pipes, foul odors, or water backing up into a tub or sink usually mean it’s time to call rather than wait it out. Academy Air provides drain cleaning, water line repair, hydro-jetting, and camera drain inspection to pinpoint blockages and damage without guesswork, for routine maintenance as well as urgent clogs. Hydro-jetting clears stubborn buildup that a standard snake can’t reach, while a camera inspection lets our technicians see the actual condition of your pipes before recommending repair or replacement. Contact Academy Air to schedule a drain cleaning or camera inspection for your Ballwin property.

What Our Customers Say
Don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what homeowners in your area are saying about Academy Air.

a month agoI cannot recommend Demetrius Shaw and Academy highly enough. Demetrius came to provide our semi-annual HVAC maintenance. Demetrius was extremely professional, always wore shoe covers inside and took the time to identify issues outside the scope of his assigned tasks. Instead of just identifying them he took the time to explain them, the underlying issues, and to suggest corrective course of action. He provided transparent pricing before starting any work. Fast, honest, efficient and top notch service. Top marks across the board!

a month agoThe response time was good. They came out within 24 hours. The repair man was awesome. He told me step-by-step of what can occur and how much it would cost. So five stars thank you everyone and thank you for repairman

2 months agoI unfortunately woke up on my birthday to a flooded lower level after our main sewer drain backed up. I called Academy Air Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric, and even on short notice they had someone out quickly for a very reasonable service call. I received an estimate at 10:42 and an update that our technician, Isaiah, was on his way by 12:08. Isaiah was professional, kind, and got right to work. He quickly diagnosed the issue, cleared the blockage, and thoroughly tested everything afterward by running water and flushing multiple times to make sure the problem was fully resolved. What really stood out was that he didn't just fix the issue and leave, he took the time to explain what caused the backup and gave my husband and me practical maintenance tips to help prevent it from happening again. We really appreciated how knowledgeable, patient, and helpful he was. No one wants to deal with a sewer backup, especially on their birthday, but Isaiah made a stressful situation so much easier. Excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommend!

2 months agoGreat experience! Had a loud unit that needed service, I called on a Sunday and they had someone out the next afternoon. John came out and was awesome. He did a detailed assessment and went over all options with their pros and cons. He truly was helping us decide the best option based on our situation and not pressuring us into buying more than we needed. I appreciated his professional opinion without high pressure sales, he was truly on our side. Highly recommend and will continue to use them for maintenance and repairs in the future. Stop looking, this is your company.

2 months agoGreat experience! Joe Vetter is my hero! It was an easy fix thankfully, but he was so kind and knowledgeable and went above & beyond to explain and educate me on the system & plumbing in my new home. I truly appreciate his help and expertise. Couldn’t have asked for a better technician. Will definitely be sticking with Joe & Academy for future plumbing & HVAC needs!

5 months agoClayton did a great job in installing the various components of by home backup system to include backup breaker, Interlock kit, power inlets, charging panel outlet and electrical system grounding. Anthony and David returned to complete the "future" task of the project a few weeks later to add another RV type outlet to the power station charging branch to permit turbo charging. They also added a "Return to Grid Power" sensor to complete the system. They also moved an outside GFCI outlet as I was having a deck extension added to the screen room. Similarly to Clayton's work, Anthony was meticulous, knowledgeable and extremely mindful of minimal disturbance to the home. Anthony also used this complex project to educate and train David, his apprentice, on tasks that he may not have otherwise had the opportunity to encounter. I commend their work and recommend them for similar projects.

8 months agoI had a great experience working with Anthony Dietz. He took the time to explain everything in detail, educated me on the issue, and walked me through all of my options without any pressure. I really appreciated how clearly Anthony broke things down so I could make an informed, confident decision about what was best for my situation. It’s refreshing to work with someone who is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely focused on helping rather than just selling a quick fix. I would absolutely recommend Anthony to anyone looking for an honest and professional electrician. Oh did I mention he was friendly? lol

8 months agoThis company is amazing!!! They came out and got the old units uninstalled and had the new ones in with a few hours. Extremely polite and professional. Walked us through how the new units worked and how to set them for optimal efficiency and performance. The two installation techs were a true blessing to me and my family. Thanks again Joe and Ryan for your time and help. And thank you Academy Air for your service.
